We will leave for Turpan after breakfast from your hotel. On the way to Turpan, we will stop for taking photos of Dabancheng Wind Power Station which is located beside the Urumqi- Turpan Express Highway. We will be in Turpan late in the morning. We will go straight to hotel for check in and do quick refresh then set out for sightseeing. We first start with Toyuk valley which is the Great Canyon with the longest culture and the most mighty and majestic natural landscapes. We will visit Gaochang ancient city after lunch. It was founded during the first century B.C. and abandoned during the 15th century. We will take a donkey cart to reach the center of Gaochang ancient city. Astana Tombs which is the "Gaochang's live history record and underground museum in Turpan area. We will leave from the hotel after breakfast. The places we will visit today are Emin Minaret which is the biggest ancient pagoda existing in Xinjiang and the only Islamic ancient pagoda in the country, Karez Underground Water System Folkways Paradise which is the irrigation system of wells connected by underground channels, it is considered to be one of the three great ancient projects in China, Jiaohe Ancient City.
